Three Qualities of Successful Life

In twenty first century, our media often focus on the people who have success by economically. The chief executive officer of business or the leader of industry is an example for those people who became successful in life. In personally, according to our history, those people who were called as hero are also lived their life successfully. I admire some of those people in the history who faced their own frustrations and fought against their demerits. Because of their efforts during their life terms, our world has been influenced by their movements. I used to infuse those people as truly successfully lived. Although people have walked in many different roads, they have several common qualities to be successful in life; a motive, failure, and effort.
The quality of motive is like a first step toward a successful life. If Florence Nightingale did not earn her motive from her parent, then she would not become a founder of modern nursing. The upper class British daughter has been modified by her parent education. William Edward Nightingale, Florence’s father, believed that women should be get education like men does. So Florence learned Italian, Latin, history, and mathematics from her father. Also Florence’s parent was a humanitarian, which it influenced their daughter as naturally. Since her childhood, Nightingale’s motive has been established from her parent. Then her motive made her habit of making rounds at night to tend injured soldiers during Crimean War. She was a hero who lived her life successfully and lighted the lamp of wide opportunities for women in future.
The second quality of successful life is the experience of failure. He was well known as a genius composer. He also published lot of powerful and spiritual music while he was becoming a deaf. This musician is Ludwig Van Beethoven. According to Doctor Marage, who has studied Beethoven’s letters, buzzing noises and other sounds started at around 1796, and he had lost 60% of his hearing by 1801. Then he completely became a deaf in 1806. How a composer could write his music, when his ears were damaged? While Beethoven was in the midst of his heroic period, his hearing problem started. At first, he tried to avoid the fact that he had illness, which it could interrupt his career. But when his whole hearing system got seriously damaged, he finally accepted his handicap. His experience of failure in his life created today’s Beethoven’s music. He name and work will be remembered as from precious musician, because he overcame his handicap and lived successful life.
A passion is the last quality to become live successful life. Thomas Alva Edison attempted one thousand ways of experiments to make a light bulb. American Inventor could success his life by his passion. Especially, because of his effort, we don’t have to work in the dim anymore. The world has been positively influenced by the Edison’s inventions. If he was not such passionate while he was in the laboratory, then Edison lived normal life. Because Edison continued his experiments as enthusiastically, he developed himself and advantaged as inventor.
We all have the passion upon our personal interests. But through the process of reaching our goal of interest, some people may give up or others may keep walking toward their interest.
A motive, failure, and passion are not the only qualities for the successful life. But based on my personal opinion, these three qualities are the most important words to become a successful in life. Florence Nightingale, Ludwig Van Beethoven, and Thomas Edison may not have all three of these qualities. But they all lived their life successfully as great person.
